The Rover HD is the reinforced version of the Mares Rover mask. The silicone is around a third thicker than on the standard Rover, so the mask copes better with daily use, cracking and wear - which is why it is a common choice for dive centres and rental equipment.
The construction uses two tempered glass lenses, wider than average, which gives better peripheral vision. The buckles are integrated into the frame and work with thicker gloves too, so also in colder water. Optical lenses are available for the range from -1.0 to -6.5 and from +1.5 to +3.0 dioptres.
