The Spetton Xpectra 2.0 in the Solver version is a mask intended for spearfishing and freediving. Xpectra is a separate model in Spetton's mask range alongside Fussion, Excell and Baltik, so the choice comes down to which skirt shape seals best against a particular face.
On a mask for spearfishing and freediving, low internal volume is decisive: the less air there is inside the mask, the less air is needed to equalise pressure on the descent, so the diver spends less breath on the mask itself. In addition, the silicone skirt has to seal well against the face, because even the slightest leak at depth means constant clearing and a loss of focus. Before first use it is recommended to remove the factory film from the lenses so they do not fog.
