The Mares Pure Vision is a medium volume mask with a silicone skirt and tempered glass lenses. It is intended for recreational diving and snorkelling, where a wide viewing angle and easy adjustment matter most.
The buckles are the EZ Adjust type, so the strap is tightened and released quickly without taking the mask off the face. Tempered glass is the standard on diving masks because it does not produce sharp shards if it breaks; ordinary glass or plastic is not acceptable for diving. Before first use it is advisable to remove the factory film from the lenses so the mask does not fog.
