The Berkley Gulp! Nightcrawler combines the look of natural bait with the durability of an artificial one. Instead of plastisol it uses a biodegradable water-based formula that continuously releases scent, which is why the bait draws fish from further away than an ordinary soft plastic.
The pronounced segmentation of the body imitates an earthworm and increases scent dispersion, while giving the bait natural movement on a slow retrieve. The Bubblegum version, 6" long, is suited to bottom fishing and to a slow presentation right alongside the rig.
