The Berkley Gulp! Nightcrawler is designed as a replacement for live bait without its drawbacks. The formula is water-based and biodegradable and releases up to 400 times more scent than conventional plastic, so the bait keeps working statically — on the bottom, during a pause or while waiting for a bite.
The pronounced segmentation of the body imitates an earthworm and increases scent dispersion, while giving the bait natural movement on a slow retrieve. The Milky White version, 3" long, is suited to bottom fishing and to a slow presentation right alongside the rig.
