The Mustad 92553S in size 5/0 is the largest hook from this series in our range and is intended for fishing with large bait for bigger saltwater species. The up-turned eye is designed for the snell knot, which distributes the load best at these dimensions, while the reversed point retains its hooking ability even when the hook is almost completely covered by bait.
Typical use is fishing from a boat at anchor and deep water fishing with whole squid or larger cuts of fish, as well as preparing rigs that stay in the sea for longer periods. Stainless steel matters here because large hooks are replaced less often, so corrosion resistance directly extends the life of the rig. The pack contains 25 pieces.
