The Jabsco Par-Max HD4 is a pressure pump for the fresh water system on boats and RVs, delivering 4 GPM at 40 PSI. That flow rate means several outlets can be used at the same time without a noticeable drop in pressure, which is the difference between a pump that supplies one tap and one that covers a whole system.
The Heavy Duty version differs from the standard one in its wider diameter motor, powder coated shell and cast aluminium end bells and lower housing, which improve pressure capability and service life. The pump is self-priming, can run dry without damage and operates quietly with minimal vibration, while quick-connect fittings simplify installation. The manufacturer code is Q401J-115S-3A.
