The Ragot Protector Multicolor in size M is the smaller version of the protector fitted between the sinker and the rig knot. It is intended for lighter sinkers and thinner lines, where a larger protector would needlessly load the rig, but knot protection is still needed because even a light sinker returns to the same connection on every cast.
Typical use is on medium-weight rigs from shore and from a boat, as well as on rigs that are used repeatedly. Besides extending the life of the knot, the protector also softens the impact when the sinker settles on the bottom, which reduces the number of unexpected break-offs. Supplied as a multi-piece pack.
