The Ragot 60 g sinking bombarda is the heaviest model in the series and is intended for the most demanding conditions: long distance, deeper water and spots with noticeable current, where lighter bombardas are swept away before they reach the desired layer. The greater mass gives faster, straighter sinking, so depth stays predictable.
Because of the weight it is used on a rod that can take a heavier cast, and it comes into its own when fishing from an elevated shore and wherever fish are holding near the bottom. The combination of range and controlled depth also makes it useful in poorer weather. A ready-made rig is included.
