The Triton Pauk Crnac is a fish shaped lead peskafondo with a natural brown pattern and fine dark dots, modelled on the weever fish known locally as pauk crnac. Such a muted colour works well in clear water and good visibility, when squid and cuttlefish are more selective.
The lure is lowered vertically from a boat and worked with gentle lifts and drops above the bottom. The tail holds a crown of needles, and the head has a tying eye and a painted eye. The maker describes the model as a lure that fishes in all conditions, and weights from 20 to 100 grams allow it to be used at different depths and in current.
