The Fiiish Power Tail is a patented hard lure from the French maker Fiiish, with a baitfish body and a clear paddle shaped disc on the tail. The paddle slows the sink rate and throws strong vibrations on the retrieve, so the lure swims calmly when fished slowly and imitates a fleeing fry when fished faster. In the water the clear disc is almost invisible.
The Slow version has a resin body and is meant for shallower water and weak current. The 44 mm size is measured without the paddle, and the lure is fitted with a VMC treble hook. The Wasabi Ayu colour combines a green back with a silvery white flank and a yellow spot behind the eye. It works well for trout, perch and other freshwater predators, and its low weight and compact body also suit light spinning.
