The Penn Ally II is a one-piece 1.83 m (6 ft) boat rod for big fish from the boat and for trolling. The blank is made of tubular E-glass with a solid glass tip, giving it great durability under load.
Both versions have an aluminium bent butt with a gimbal and roller guides throughout. It is available in the 50–80 lb (heavy) and 80–130 lb (extra heavy) classes, both with a moderate fast action and non-slip EVA grips.
