The Casted Feel Egi Finesse is a 243 cm eging rod made for smaller jigs in the EGI 1.8-3.0 range and thin braid of PE 0.4-1.0. The finesse version exists for situations where standard egi tackle stops working: clear, calm water, cautious and smaller squid, daylight. You then move to a smaller jig and thinner line, and the rod has to be soft enough to feel that weight at all.
The blank is 36T carbon weighing about 110 g, with a progressive medium action. Guides are SeaGuide Hero HiGrade in SS316 stainless steel with SIC inserts, and the reel seat is a Casted VSS#16. The handle is an EVA split grip, and handle length together with guide size and spacing are tuned specifically for squid fishing. Transport length is 126 cm and a rod bag is included.
