Grundens Eat Your Words is a heavier hooded sweatshirt from the line carrying fish-species graphics — this version has a tuna motif on black. The fabric is treated with a DWR finish, a water-repellent coating that makes droplets bead up and shake off instead of soaking straight into the fabric. It does not replace a rain jacket, but it helps with spray, dew and brief showers.
Its weight makes it a mid layer in the colder part of the year or an outer layer in the shoulder months. Hood and pockets are standard for this cut, and black hides signs of use better than lighter versions. Sizes offered here are S, M, L and XL.
