The Mares Dual Camo is a snorkel for freediving and spearfishing. The tube is PVC in a black camouflage finish, meant for prolonged use in salt water, and it is soft just enough to follow head movement without interrupting airflow.
The tube has a D-shaped section so it touches the temple less and does not lift the mask, and its diameter and length are chosen so the snorkel clears with a single breath. The mouthpiece is hypoallergenic silicone, so it tolerates long periods in the mouth without irritating the gums. For spearfishing a snorkel deliberately has no dry valve — it is simpler and quieter, and the diver clears it on every surfacing anyway.
