The Igloo Marine Ultra with a 23 L capacity is a portable cooler from Igloo's marine line. The marine version differs from the standard one in being built for constant exposure to sun, salt and UV radiation, which on a boat destroys ordinary plastic boxes in short order.
The 23 L capacity defines the use case: smaller boxes are for day trips and drinks, larger ones for full days out, for the catch and for food. To hold the cold longer it helps to chill the cooler before filling it and to keep it full, since empty space inside speeds up ice melt. The manufacturer code is 1540024.
