The Mares Sniper is a band-powered speargun from the Mares spearfishing range. The Sniper series is conceived as simple, functional and reliable equipment, without features that raise the price but are rarely used in practice.
Gun length is chosen according to visibility and the space you dive in: a shorter gun is more manoeuvrable and faster in confined spots, while a longer one gives greater range and accuracy in clear, open water. Spearfishing is regulated by law in Croatia, so before heading out you should check the current regulations, the permits required and any restricted areas.
