The Salt Fire Pro is a powerful boat rod rated up to 400 g, intended for deep fishing and for working heavy sinkers or large lures. The 2.70 m length is a compromise that provides enough leverage to lift fish while remaining usable in the limited space on deck.
Colmic is an Italian fishing tackle manufacturer, and this model carries the code CASA83B. The rod length is 2,70 m and the declared casting weight or rating is 400 g — the two figures a rod is actually chosen by: length determines casting distance and control over the rig, while the rating determines how much weight or lure may be loaded without risk to the blank. It is worth matching the reel and line to that range before the first outing.
