The new Tournament Basia Surf 45 Scw QD is a Surfcasting reel with simply exceptional performance: designed and manufactured entirely in Japan, it is equipped with the most advanced Daiwa technologies: the result is a perfect machine that allows you to achieve incredible casting distances. The body and rotor of the Basia Surf are made of Zaion, an innovative carbon-based material that combines extreme lightness, rigidity and resistance comparable (or better) to that of metal, but unlike the latter, it is completely corrosion-free.
The oversized Tough Digigear gears and 9 ball bearings (2 of which are anti-corrosive CRBB type) make the Tournament Basia Surf extremely smooth and fluid in operation. Reliability is also top-notch, thanks to the excellent build quality, first-class materials and Magsealed technology to protect the internal mechanics: based on a special magnetized oil membrane, the same one used by NASA for the fuel pipelines on the nacelles.
