Artico has developed a specific rod for slow jigging, adapted to the needs of European anglers and beyond.
A multi reel and a stationary reel can be attached to the rod.
On the SPIRAL WRAP model, the guides on the rod are mounted spirally.
The slow jigging technique originated in Japan and involves a slow, long twitch to animate jigs specially designed for this technique. However, when it comes to setting the recoil, the fight is almost exclusively with the tip of the rod, vertically above the water, and only the reel is used for the fight. For this reason, this type of rod is specially designed for this technique: very thin and light blanks; their primary function is to be responsive and effectively animate the decoy.
These rods are developed exclusively for slow swinging!
This series proved to be versatile, because the SPL model is optimal for trolling sabiki and squid, while the SPM is ideal for coastal trolling for cod, bluefish and bass with guardian leads of 100-200 grams.
